Domoticz V4.10717 installed as a service on 64 bit Windows 10 on an AMD FX-4300 3.8 GHZ 4 core Asrock 970 X4 MB with 16BG RAM and latest MaximIntegrated iButton 1-Wire drivers. Win10 is updated automatically.
1-Wire devices are connected to computer with DS9490R USB-RJ-11 1-Wire adapter which shows up "working properly" in Device Manager. This is confirmed by (5) DS1820 and (2) DS2438 found and displayed properly by Roso Controls DDEView with correct temps & humidities.
Domoticz comes up OK on 127.0.0.1:8080 and shows 1-Wire and Z-Wave in Setup Hardware tab but never finds 1-Wire devices in Setup Devices. Haven't tried Z-Wave; I mention it only because it shows up in Domoticz. My present Z-wave hub is dead, removed from computer and a future project. Turning off DDEView makes no difference. Have run overnight and Domoticz always shows "Loading...". Tabs Switches, Temperature, Weather, Utility and Custom show no devices found or added.
Searching for Motherboard Sensors produces results "No utility sensors found or added".
Turning off Sophos Home Premium protections has no effect. Cannot stop any Sophos Services, "Access denied".
Have uninstalled and reinstalled Domoticz for Windows as both process and service with same result.
Windows firewall is ON and Domoticz is checked as an allowable app both private and public.
Behavior is identical on Chrome, FireFox and Edge browsers.
DDEView has been steady as a rock and my go-to for 1-Wire through XP, 7 and 10 but MS seems to be removing DDE support and Domoticz looks like the best alternative, if I could make it work.
An RPI is in my future but I want to get Domoticz working on Win-10 first before I start learning an entirely new machine and language.
Any help will be deeply appreciated.
