I was looking for a way to detect my door / window status without spending too much and came across these.

You get a pack of 5 for £20 ( I have prime so free delivery) when they arrived they looked different but in my opinion actually nicer, a bit of internet searching found them here with the correct picture and a bit of info.

They show up as Type Lighting 4 and SubType PT2262 when using an RFXCOM, the only down side is instead of having a single ID and changed state in the Data they have 2 diffrent ID's which both show as ON in the Data field.
Once you add them as a contact one ID says closed and the other open, I cross conected them by adding them to each other in the sub/slave field, now when you open or close the contact both of them flip state, I then simply made the one which was the inverse of what I wanted hidden by adding the $ sign at the start of the name.
They use a CR2450 battery (included) which is about 600mAh so should give a good life.

P.S So far I have bought 15 of them and have them on windows and doors (for the door I'm selecting door contact but the rest of the setup is the same, all working great at the moment)
Just a quick update, have now also tested these with an RF Link (R48 firmware), they show up as EV1527 instead of PT2262 but setup and working just the same
