Is Digi XBee-PRO® Zigbee Wall Router XR-Z14-CW1P2 (https://www.digi.com/products/networkin ... all-router) compatible with Zigate?

I would tend to say yes as it will behave as zigbee router as most of the main powered end devices.

Will it be transparent to the plugin most likely yes, but need to be tested

I heard that the range of Ikea Trådfri is poor. Digi XBee-PRO Zigbee Wall Router has 10 dBm transmission power which I think is the maximum allowed for 2 MHz bandwidth.

I got a Digi XBee-PRO Zigbee Wall Router and I doesn't work.

"By default, Digi's XBee ZB modules operates on Digi's proprietary "Drop-In Networking" ZigBee Stack Profile. Therefore, the modules would not be able to communicate as expected with another manufacturer's ZigBee device."

You need to buy another Digi product eg XU-Z11 https://www.digi.com/products/models/xu-z11 for connecting to Wall Router and change it's feature set to ZigBee 2006.
