it's not like you write. I have ethm-1 plus versions, which according to Satel support 32 bit mode, and should read input and output states> 128, and Guardx, which also supports ETHM input and output states> 128 shows correctly, where can the problem of communication in domoticz?

additionally in the logs:
2019-04-03 14:56:30.169 Error: Satel Integra: bad data length received (-1)
2019-04-03 14:56:30.169 Error: Satel Integra: Receive info about zone 106 failed
2019-04-03 14:56:30.390 Error: Satel Integra: bad data length received (-1)
2019-04-03 14:56:30.390 Error: Satel Integra: Receive info about zone 107 failed
2019-04-03 14:56:30.771 Error: Satel Integra: bad data length received (-1)

...... and so on

or:
2019-04-03 14:57:46.586 Error: integra 256 hardware (2) thread seems to have ended unexpectedly

maybe some solution will come to your head?

1) GuardX use another port and different protocol.
2) I write the result from ETM-1 in logs. If You see "32bit mode = false" - this is result form ETHM-1 - not my decision. Please try manualy send 0x7C command to ETHM1 and check response.
3) This error when module started menans "Zone is not used". Unfortunately ETHM1 not inform us about not used zones - only return error.

Hi,
I`m using Satel Integra 128Plus and ETHM1Plus with 2,06 firmware (newest) connected using gigabit switch to RPI3B+ also using RJ45 cable.
After upgrade domoticz to Version: 4.10717 i can see below errors in my domoticz log:

Code: Select all

2019-05-13 22:34:40.454 Error: Satel Integra: bad data length received
2019-05-13 22:34:40.454 Error: Satel Integra: Get info about new data is failed
2019-05-13 22:34:41.464 Error: Satel Integra: bad data length received
2019-05-13 22:34:41.465 Error: Satel Integra: Get info about new data is failed
2019-05-13 22:34:42.466 Error: Satel Integra: bad data length received
2019-05-13 22:34:42.466 Error: Satel Integra: Get info about new data is failed
This errors shows everytime, when Domoticz want to change state of integra output, or domoticz receive change of integra input.
Sometime domoticz cant get correct (actual) state of switches from Integra.
On last 4,97 version everything works perfect.
What is wrong?

I turn back to last stabile Domoticz 4.97 and everything works OK. I seems to be wrong Satel implementation on new domoticz.

Ok, I wrote. Has something changed in the SATEL module in the new version of Domoticz? Because it works correctly with the previous version (except zone errors).

Dear fantom,

first of all, thank you for the great job you have done so far!

Some time ago you mentioned you had a plan to implement scrambling of communication with ETHM module (Integra can has scrambling key to be set up). Do you still plan to take care of it? I believe lack of scrambling is a significant security issue when the system is connected to the Internet.

I will appreciate your feedback.

Hi fantom.
Maybe you know why no json topic on domoticz/out when change output state? Its a Domoticz issue or Satel plugin?
I mean typical Satel output as text. When changing its state ( eq from off to on etc. )there is nothing sent to domoticz/out. With zones as alerts its working fine. With outputs as switches its working too. Only text outputs are silents. Of course in Domoticz panel these outputs changing OK. Weird.

Integra output state is not passing to domoticz/out mqtt topic.
Zone state is passing good.
I want use domoticz/out with node-red.
I need Integra output state info for making sound information about its state on my Google home mini speaker.
For example I want "Heating on" played when integra real output is on.

Hi,

I receive hundrets of errors from domoticz:

2019-06-12 00:09:29.354 Error: Satel Integra: Get info about new data is failed

Looks like domoticz is working fine. I can read and change state of every switch, my dzVents scripts are OK. I've no idea what generates so many errors and I dont know how to check or handle this.
Any suggestions?

Hi,

I use cable connection via couple of tp link switches.

Domoticz:
Version: 4.10717
Build Hash: b38b49e5
Compile Date: 2019-05-09 13:04:08
dzVents Version: 2.4.19
Python Version: 3.4.2 (default, Feb 10 2019, 17:57:51) [GCC 4.9.2]

I'm not absolutely sure, but I don't remember such a huge number of errors when I was using previous version of domoticz. My domoticz was upgraded about one or two weeks ago. I do not remember previous version number. It's on Raspberry PI 3.

I just checked with "general" "text" type and the json script appears on the domoticz/out MQTT topic.
For example:

Code: Select all

{
   "Battery" : 255,
   "RSSI" : 12,
   "description" : "",
   "dtype" : "General",
   "id" : "00082152",
   "idx" : 152,
   "name" : "nodered",
   "nvalue" : 0,
   "stype" : "Text",
   "svalue1" : "The time is now 0:27",
   "unit" : 1
}
Unfortunately, the same "general" "text" type with the Satel Integra module does not appear on domoticz/out.
This probably indicates the problem of the Satel Integra plugin.
It was on 4.10.717 and also on recent beta 4.10.902 version.
Good news: There is less "bad data length received" on the latest version, and form is slightly different:

Code: Select all

Satel Integra: bad data length received (expectedLength 20, totalRet 21, cmd EE, cmdLength 3)
There is no error when scanning across zones is finished.
