Ikea Tradfri bulb not changing status in domoticz with Zigate

When Switching ON/OFF this is about electrical power ON/OFF.
Strange that your HUE Bulb do not send any messages !

Switching on/off is with the hue dimmer remote. I don't have a physical switch for the hue.
I can try to catch some log when I remove and replace the bulb from the socket. Maybe the bulb quit the zigbee network... although I can control it with Domoticz...

The issue is that when I switch on the hue bulb with the hue remote dimmer that the state of the bulb is not updated in Domoticz. So basically Domoticz doesn’t know if the light is on or off.

I'm afraid that I cannot help anymore If the resetConfigureReporting is not doing anything, I don't have any hue, so not able to duplicate the issue

you might want to re-pair them at last to see if it improves. So remove the Hue from Domoticz+Plugin, Reset them, and then re-pair

I do get an error when the the bulb gets a power cut and power is enabled again.

Not an issue. And what is now the behaviour. Do you still have no report when changing the bulb state with the remote ?

No change unfortunately.
As an alternative I could unbind the remote from the bulb and always control it through a DZvents script in Domoticz. This works fine for on and off but the dim up/down doesn’t perform very well that way.

I'm wondering if this is a behaviour of all Hue with Zigate, as I feel you are the first reporting that.

Someone started this thread with exactly the same issue with Tradfri. But don’t know if it’s solved eventually.

Oh, never mind. I read back and Tradfri works in combination to the remote.

Just checked with someone whom have Hue, Ikea and remote. When using the remote to swicth off/on the bulb, domoticz is updated quiet immediately.

I would suggest you to redo the all pairing of those Hue after removing them and as you have a remote Hue to reset them.

I just tried removing and rejoining the Bulb but that didn’t work. I had to reset the remote in the process so the remote also rejoined Zigate and rejoined the bulb

Can you ask that person which zigate plugin settings he uses? Thanks

Hi, I tested it with my Hue bulbs setup. I have two bulbs controlled by one aqara and one Philips Hue remote. In both cases, when I turn them on/off using any of those remotes, the status changes almost immediately in Domoticz dashboard. I have quite fresh installation as I messed up my Python setup recently, all paired with Zigate couple days ago.

I’m curious how you set up the hue remote. Did you connect it to Domoticz and control the bulb with a script or did you connect the remote directly to the bulb?
Don’t think it’s possible to connect the Aqara button directly to the bulb so I guess you control that one with a script. In that case it’s logical that Domoticz has the actual state.
Can you tell me more about your hue remote - bulb setup? And in case you have connected the remote directly to the bulb, can you share your pluginConfig settings?

It should be much faster than that. Are you on the latest stable branche ?
If yes edit the file Conf/PluginConf-xx.txt and add or update the following parameters:

'allowReBindingClusters:'1',

This will reset all ConfigureReporting and then the Plugin will rebuild them over the time ( it could take some time ). Make sure that all your devices are powered On. (Of course they can be off, but at least the main power is on )

I am now on the stable plugin branch (and for Domoticz too), just updated plugin to 4.3.0
I have added the 2 parameters in pluginconf. I see that the reporting was deleted.
Edit: after a couple of minutes after start of the plugin it still had the delay of 5 minutes between switching on through wall switch an reporting it into Domoticz.
I will try in an hour again.
