Hi,
We have a non-predictable shift pattern so I want to make Domoticz read a calendar and update our heating times to reflect our shifts.
I have it working in principal using IFTTT to trigger on Google Calendar events then modify the appropriate Domoticz switches/setpoints via JSON.
However, this replies on IFTTT, Google and our internet connection to switch the heating on. This morning our internet connection dropped, resulting on the heating not switching on!
I would like to run a local calendar service on the Domoticz host (A Synology NAS) then trigger the switches locally, meaning the system is then independent of external services.
Is there a way to trigger on CalDAV events, if not, is this something that could be considered for a future release?

Hi,
Have you got this working on a Synology?
I was halted when the iCal-link said:
sudo pip3 install googletrans
sudo pip3 install holidays
sudo pip3 install colour
sudo pip3 install icalenda
Putty doesn't recognize the pip3 command on my Synology? (Command not found)
Python 3 was installed (although a version request Python -V says 2.7.12...)
