Any plans of Z-Ware or Z/IP instead of openzwave?
I recently realized that Silabs is going on Z-Ware Gateway and Z-IP path which they made their SDKs publicly available. I was just wondering if there are any plans on implementing this instead of OZW?

Great question! Over the last years the wish of more stability in my Z-Wave network is growing every day. I run about 80 nodes with very current routing slaves but still experience timeouts and other daily strange surprises.
Setup:
RockPro64 4GB
Aeotec Z-Stick Gen5:
42 Fibaro, 15 AEON, 8 Danfoss/Devolo, 7 Vision Sensors,4 Z-Wave.Me Devices,1 Zipato Bulb

As i read it, this is only a new gateway layer for remote communication. So not really relevant for domoticz users.

"Not really relevant..."
There is a gap of functionality between Z/IP and OpenZWave especialy routing and healing function I think. When you have to deal with larger Z-Wave networks and critical environments with concrete wall e. g. its a good idea to have working/effective routing and network heal functions.
For now I included a secondary Z-Wave controller and optimize the network with the PC Controller Software. I did this because of the scared results captured with Z-Wave Sniffer/UZB3.
It's also a good idea to read the post:

and of course the SDS: https://www.silabs.com/documents/login/ ... cation.pdf
Maybe not really relevant, but really helps to clarify root causes of timeouts!
