Using an IDE to develop dzVents scripts

Post by martijn1985 »

I've been searching all over for this, but haven't been able to find clues on how to use an IDE to develop dzVents scripts. I would think that something like LDT should be able to build scripts which then could be uploaded to domoticz. However, to be useful the IDE should have knowledge about the devices and objects used by domoticz and dzVents. Could anyone point me to some info as to how to achieve that?

Did you check latest beta and the internal editor?
Synology NAS, slave PI3, ZWave (Fibaro), Xiaomi zigbee devices, BTLE plant sensor, DzVents, Dashticz on tablet, Logitech Media Server

that's because DzVents is NOT a fully language...
basically it's a json formatted string with a LUA function in it :P :P

We should look for Danny's contribute to understand if a IDE can handle correctly dzVents syntax and structure :P :P
The most dangerous phrase in any language is:
"We always done this way"
