Hallo Everybody here.
I like to add a SMS/GSM module to my Domoticz Raspberry Pi so i can send a warning SMS if the internet connection is lost.
As a GSM module I have a Siemens TC35i terminal with RS232 interface which I still had from an old work project.
Since I want to send messages when I no longer have internet connection, sending via a web portal is not an option!
Now I am only looking for the right solution to connect the RS 232 to the RaspberryPi, of course I can use a USB/RS232 adapter or a MAX232 converter, what is the best advice?
And the most complicated:
How can I send RS232 commands from domoticz in a simple manner?
I already read something about node-red, but have not tried it yet.
Thanks in advance
