installing Mertik controller

Post by hanss74 »

Hi,
I can find that the Mertik controller is fully usable.
However I cannot control it except for On and OFF
How should I add the Mertik controller to my Domoticz application.
I used DIMMER but that does give the full functionality.
I am running Domoticz 2.2284 and the latest RFXtrx relaese.
Thanks for any help.

You can add it as a normal on/off switch and you need to update your domoticz to a newer (beta) version. Else it will not work
KAKU switches/receivers/Motion sensor/Doorbell
Oregon Temp sensors, TFA Temp sensor
Mertik controller
Raspberry Pi, RFXCom

A little more help on with this please.

I have the latest beta version and added the mertik as an on/off switch. But how can I make a (block/LUA) script like this..

if temp huiskamer (Netatmo) is < 19 then run up kachel
if temp huiskamer (Netatmo) is > 22 then run down kachel

I can only do a run down/up when I change te switch to the run down command (grey arrow down) or grey arrow up for the run up command?

i have an Mertik G6R-H4T-Z2 controller

In the rfxmngr i am able to controle the fireplace.

In domoticz, the learn option only detects up.
When added, i cannot control it.

How can i setup the mertik controller manually ie. one succesfully sended command is:
================================================
Thermostat3 command
================================================
Packettype = Thermostat3
subtype = Mertik G6R-H4TB, G6R-H4T5, G6R-H4T, G6R-H4TV21-Z22
Sequence nbr = 45
ID = 0x30ECB
Command = Up
Signal level = 0 -120dBi

What should the settings be, its now like (but ain't working)

Switch type: Selector
Type: Selector Switch
ID 0 03 0E CB
Unit code?

And when you want to test the settings, the "ON" command is send, but the fireplace does not respond to an "On"command.

Dear all,

How did you guys make this work? I do not find any options for the Mertik (G6R - H4T1)

Using Raspberry Pi / Domioticz 2.3530 / RFXcom433E

Thanks for any further suggestions. Jeroen

Dear all,

Quick update of what I tried, but still not working:
Upgraded firmware RfxCom 433E from 248-->249-->250-->10001
Disabled all other protocols, ony Mertik active
Used the windows program RfxMgr, no signal detected (other protocols are detected)
Upgraded Domoticz to 3.4834

Anyone any clue? Faulty Rfxcom perhaps??

Best regards, Jeroen

Dear all,

Problem solved :P
Needed to sent my remote control to RfxCOM who have issued a new firmware version. Loading this new FW version fixed it. I can now fully control my fireplace (on/off/ramp up/ramp down).
A big thank you to RFXCOM for helping me out! (within one day! )

Hi,

I'v an issue with Mertik G6R-H4T-Z2.
In RFXmngr i can send all commands to the receiver , in the fireplace.
================================================
Thermostat3 command
================================================
Packettype = Thermostat3
subtype = Mertik G6R-H4S
Sequence nbr = 9
ID = 0x31CB3 decimal:203955
Command = Up
Signal level = 0 -120dBm
------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------
Packettype = Receiver/Transmitter Message
subtype = Transmitter Response
Sequence nbr = 9
response = ACK, data correct transmitted

But via Domoticz V3.5763 it is receiving nothing.
With remote control (Mertik G6R-H4T-Z2), Domoticz received all the command..

I can't find the problem, please help..

Hi

An old post, but did anyone of you get Mertik remote work in Domoticz? If so, do you have any tip/guide how to get it working?

Pushing this up :)

I'm also trying to do this, but can't find "up" or "run up" in the blockly.
