Re: Automating my WTW (ventilation unit)
I would not try to keep the manual switch with the kaku switch both. That makes things extra ccmplicated and increases the chance of errors. It may work but most likely it will not or it may even damage your wtw and/or kaku switch.

Re: Automating my WTW (ventilation unit)
I do not know the components you've selected. But i think you should make sure that your kaku swich does not have 220v on its switch connectors before you connect it to your wtw. If i understand it correctly, your wtw accepts only 24 volt on those connections. If you connect it to 220 volt you will for sure damage your wtw. In dutch: wees zeker dat je kaku schakelaar potentiaal vrij is.

As long as you follow the https://forum.mysensors.org/post/83233 cheatsheet you can have the physical switches and the Domoticz switch all together.
But don't add your own voltage to the connector indeed!!

Re: Automating my WTW (ventilation unit)
Hi all, I automated my WTW installatie by putting a Fibaro two way relay between the switch (3 standenschakelaar) and the WTW unit for a double rocker switch. In my bathroom I have two Xiaomi Humidity sensors for my bath and shower. I then programmed the relay switch to switch to speed 2 or 3 and back to default speed 1 according to the humidity in the bathroom. Everything worked out perfectly, until Domoticz released the 2020 version and my Xiaomi Gateway isn't recognized anymore and I have to switch the wtw manually (either switch or inside Domoticz app). I'm now running Domoticz v4.xxxx on my ASUStor but sadly upgrading still gives issues.

I think you've got better chances of getting help if you start your own topic for your xiaomi gateway no longer functioning after upgrading Domoticz to 2020.melgi wrote: ↑Sunday 26 April 2020 14:33 Hi all, I automated my WTW installatie by putting a Fibaro two way relay between the switch (3 standenschakelaar) and the WTW unit for a double rocker switch. Thanx for your reply. I already started a topic about my Xiaomi Gateway not working anymore in 2020 version (https://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopi ... 08d69de246). As far as this thread concerned: I just wanted to share my experiences as maybe that would help other people wanting to try this out.

Re: Automating my WTW (ventilation unit) [SOLVED]
Yes!
Philippe *father_mande" created a new APKG for the Asustor Nas with the recent 2020.2 of Domoticz. I installed it yesterday and after disabling/enabling the Xiaomi Gateway, it's working again together with all my humidity sensors and automation scripts! So I don't have to manually switch my WTW anymore when someone takes a shower or bath!

It's on the official Asustor forum in the Domoticz section.

Re: Automating my WTW (ventilation unit)
Thank you Melgi
The installation procedure is too complex for me.
I will wait for a simpler version to install as was the previous version or a youtube tuto .
But from what I understand it doesn't seem easy to achieve
