Gas meter missing (Synology&Raspberry)

Post by AllesGaatVanzelf »

Just got a slimme meter and so I ordered the P1 cable to get into "Domotics" with Domoticz.
Installed Domoticz on my Synology DS216jplay and all went (almost) well.

Log:

2018-12-12 17:51:32.786 Status: P1 Smart Meter: Meter reports as DSMR 5.0
2018-12-12 17:51:33.023 Status: P1 Smart Meter: Found gas meter on M-Bus channel 1
  • Hardware:
    • P1 USB type: P1Smart Meter USB
  • Devices:

Installed Domoticz on my Raspberry PI 2b with the same results

so where is the gas meter?

The gas meter has been configured in the smart meter but has not yet reported any data. You mentioned it was just installed, just give it some time to establish communication.

"Slimme meter" was installed 7 December 2018, so almost a week ago.
You think I should give it some more time?

Yeah, well... The only other thing you can do is contact the network operator and ask them if they can see why the gas meter is not reporting.

two or three weeks is quite normal when your energy-transport-company installed your meter a few days ago.
Contact the company to find out when your gasmeter will report data..

Thanks to you all ...

Contacted the energy-transport-company (Liander) and they say "It takes 10 days". They have to activate and configure the Slimme meter first :P
