This is a generic Domoticz alert. Can you post your settings in order to see if there is something wrong? Have you set "Data Timeout" to "Disabled"?dextm80 wrote: ↑Thursday 08 November 2018 8:10i've already this error, anyone who known this error mean?dextm80 wrote: ↑Saturday 03 November 2018 16:45why?Code: Select all

Re: Python Plugin: Python Plugin Manager
this is not working with Synology
I tryed to install eq-3 max
I had some errors
I can be a beta tester for Synology if needed
To make it work I had to launch the command my self ... but in sudo mode

Re: Python Plugin: Python Plugin Manager
Others have successfully installed the plugin (directly) on Synology. So I assume your errors have to do with the Plugin Manager. If there is anything I can do (as eQ-3 Max! plugin author) please let me know.

Re: Python Plugin: Python Plugin Manager
ok,
maybe we found something here.
So, the question is:
"is there anyone that had -even a single- plugin installed on Synology Based Domoticz via PP-Manager (or without sudo?)?"

Just like any other plugin. Delete plugin folder(PP-Manager).

Re: Python Plugin: Python Plugin Manager
I've tried again with a new fresh install.
I've managed to install 3.4 and remove 3.5.
After installing Python Plugin Manager again I cannot find it in domoticz. Like there is not running any version of python anymore?
Also my Sony Bravia plugin is not working anymore.
My last tries:
pi@raspberrypi:~ $ sudo update-alternatives --install /usr/bin/python python /usr/bin/python3.4 4
update-alternatives: using /usr/bin/python3.4 to provide /usr/bin/python (python) in auto mode
pi@raspberrypi:~ $ sudo update-alternatives --config python
There is only one alternative in link group python (providing /usr/bin/python): /usr/bin/python3.4
Nothing to configure.

Re: Python Plugin: Python Plugin Manager
Hi there,
Like many others, I have multiple lines of "Error: Python Plugin Manager hardware (10) thread seems to have ended unexpectedly" in my logs (PP manager idx is 10). For instance, for today from 00:00:00 to 05:00:00 (and it continues like that in the next hours):
Any ideas where this could come from? It doesn't seem to have any effect, just wondering what's happening there.
I'm using: Python Plugin Manager v.1.5.16
Thanks!

Re: Python Plugin: Python Plugin Manager
@remb0 I think plugin management should be a top priority for Domoticz in 2019.
We need a new interface for managing the growing number of built in plugins and for easily installing Python Plugins (build the Python Plugin Manager into Domoticz)?

Re: Python Plugin: Python Plugin Manager
Hi,
I tried yesterday evenin to install the PP Manager on my Domoticz 4.97, but no way !
I got Raspbian updated, I installed all the Python libraries, even the -dev ones, I made the plugin.py executable, I rebooted Domoticz, and finally it was possible to add a Python Plugin in Hardwares, but no switches were added on the devices, and each time I tried to remove the created Hardware, Domoticz got freezed.
On the logs, there was a lot of "Error: Python Plugin Manager hardware (10) thread seems to have ended unexpectedly"
I had to uninstall the PP Manager folder !
I was really interested in the Yamaha Receiver Plugin, I installed it without the manager and it's working fine ! No bugs !
Is there something I've missed ?

Re: Python Plugin: Python Plugin Manager
Hallo,
I tried to install the Python PP Plugin Manager today on my Domoticz 4.97
According to the information on the screen there should be a new buton with devices, unfortunately nothing to find on the devices tab.
However, the plugin seems to work according to the log file.
Some error messages are given at the start of the plugin. see the log file

The question now is of course where is the devices buton
and what is wrong (see the error) and how can I solve these problems?
Thank you for your help
