So a few points there:

You're right - the Google Assistant doesn't allow RGBW controls yet - which is annoying, but this UI functionality is new, so hope it will improve soon
Sensors aren't available yet - they're coming soon, i have implemented them under the covers, but waiting for Google to release them. Until that point, I have to treat sensors as thermostats in order to query them (which is also annoying).
Scenes - i'm hoping this is just a short term issue as Dutch language has only just been implemented

Found the Google documentation about RGB lights.
https://developers.google.com/actions/s ... ides/light
Apperantly the device type 'Light' has the traits 'brightness', 'colorspectrum' and 'colortemperature'. However no saturation. So RGB is supported RGBW not (fully). Maybe it is possible to use RGB value FFFFFF as white or something like that? I believe the Google Assistant also sends the detected color as string back in the request.

You can set warm/cold white - is that what you mean?

No with saturation I mean the mix between white and RGB(colorspectrum).
With colortemperature you can set the themperature of the color. For white that would be the range between cw/ww. Haven't seen it been used for other colors yet in consumer lighting.

Integration with dutch Home Assistant seems to work perfectly if you use the buttons in the new Home app.
However, any and all voice commands that are different from "set thermostat to X" and "turn off/on lamps" simply result in google's ability to play a song on youtube that somehow relates to the command you gave.

Apparently there's a song called "In het Licht" from "Sela", quite religious I should tell you. Now Google is trying to force religion into my home.

So.. I'm guessing the dutch voice commands just suck donkey balls and we gotta wait more.

Also, no support for those "Shortcuts" in dutch language.

:D  :D
Same here. Frustrating Google responses like "Ik begrijp het niet" "Ik kan het niet" but it seems like Google simply doesn't want to.

Not sure what triggered the change but giggle's assistant was completely ignoring me this morning (indicating she could not switch anything) so I disconnected controlicz, removed all non switchable devices from my room plans (pirs, contacts), reconnected controlicz and tadaa IT WORKS! I can switch devices in rooms again and it all works in Dutch. Yay. .

Are you able to connect controlicz to your google assistant while the phone is set to dutch? I'm on swedish and if i use swedish as language on the phone and search for "actions" in google assistant to add/link controlicz nothing shows up.

So to connect/link controlicz my phone must be on english.. How do you connect/link controlicz to your phone while on dutch?

Best regards.

Google assistant supports Dutch language these days so I can just select Dutch language. Is Swedish supported?

Okay Madgeni en others. Good news for users on new released languages!
I unlinked Controlicz on my Google Home app, reconnected and got all devices back in rooms again.
All devices are working now (for me in Dutch) on my Google Home Mini. Great! I'm using (dutch) device friendly names.
So far so good Madgeni, but still testing! :ugeek:

Seems to work better now.
I've deleted a device that was added to g home. Created a new device with the same name (diff idx ofc). Now every time I ask Google to sync my devices it says there was an error syncing devices with controlicz. Linking/unlinking doesn't help.
The old device also stays in g home. I know this because turning it on does nothing.

Hi Maes - mail me from your Controlicz profile, i'll take a look. It may be some weird Home app caching issue - have you tried clearing it out and trying again? It's almost like it's become an orphaned device, very odd!

I can confirm that Dutch is still not ideal. Whilst rooms seem to work, many individual devices are hit/miss. Some work, some assistant just does not recognise... She still needs a little work I guess but it's semi workable for me atm.

Not only Dutch. Swedish too but that's Googles fault. Publishing stuff only half ready. 😉 You really need to be very specific in Swedish or else she will not understand. Light-years behind English. Getting better and better. I guess.
