Even though I'm mainly using the Dashboard in Domoticz, I'd love to sort my scenes and switches screen a bit as well, in case I need to search for something there.
I've got something like this in mind (note the horizontal divider):
Is there already an option to do something like this, or are there other ways to do this?
Is there a way to sort scenes / switches?

Not sure with the default theme, but with aurora you can drag n' drop the stuff and rearrange them as you like.

Also possible with default theme
Synology NAS, slave PI3, ZWave (Fibaro), Xiaomi zigbee devices, BTLE plant sensor, DzVents, Dashticz on tablet, Logitech Media Server

I use room plans for that, so from the front page I can celect a specific “room” with the according items.

Rearange, yes, but you can't make separations, or different groups. My main objective is to have a slight separation of the different groups, like you have on your dashboard between scenes, switches, etc..
While this definitely works, it's a bit cumbersome when you barely have 1 page of devices in total. When you have many items, sorting through room plans definitely helps, but for smaller divisions, it's not the greatest.
