@Jumbotroll: will you compile the latest beta including python for me.
Same for me please, DS212j and DS211j, DSM 6.2

Many thanks
Sorry, I don't compile for arch 88f6281 or 88f6282 anymore because of -std=c++11 in domoticz source code and the old toolchain from synology.
Sorry to read about that. That's sometimes the price to pay for using some old (but stable) material ... Thanks anyway for all what you're doing for the Synology world around Domoticz.
Do I understand that "domoticz_88f6281-6.1_3.0.9390-7.spk 06-May-2018 21:36 16M " will be the last downloadable version from your site for this arch with Python ?

Yes domoticz_88f6281-6.1_3.0.9390-7.spk is my latest build before -std-c++11 in domoticz source.
If synology update the toolchain with newer gcc version, I can build for arch-88f6281 again.
But this NAS's is now begin to be old and I don't think they will update the toolchain.

You're right, and DSM 6.2 has already been announced as the last version for these models (among others). :|

FYI

I ran Domoticz 3.8153 on my Synology 211+ on DSM 6.1. I was a bit disappointed to learn that this particular platform has problems in the toolchain and there will no version 4 released for this animal and DSM 6.2. But it worked OK. so did not worry too much. ;)

I recently got the Synology update from 6.1 to the newer 6.2.23739 on 23 june and it just stopped working.
at 7 juli I got 6.2.23739 Update 1 and to my surprise it magically continued operation again. :D

I wonder if I should disable the autoupdates for now or migrate to a Pi. We'll see ;)

Hi Jumbotroll, am I just very bad in searching, or is it correct the package has not been updated for the bromolow (ds3615xs) arch? Or is something limiting to do?

Hope you can help me out!

Ohw I'm sorry to mention (because I use you package a long time already).... I was wondering if the new version for 6.1 could be build as a package for the DS3615xs (Domoticz 4.9700 stable for DSM6.1 With Python PluginManager)...

Ok. I did not build stable packages for DSM 6.1, but if you still use DSM 6.1 I can build domoticz 4.9700 for bromolow.

Here you go :)

Hi all. I am searching for the latest version 4 package to install on my DS213. But i cannot find it on jumbotroll's site, DS213 does not have a link for the latest domoticz version. Is there any way I can upgrade domoticz on my DS213? Old version 3 is: domoticz_88f6282-5.2_3.0.5877-7.spk.

Thanks in advance!
Rob.

Hi Jumbotroll,

I have a synology router RT1900AC, and i got so far to get domoticz running.
The only thing i cant get working is the serial drivers, in domoticz it is empty.

In de the LIB/Modules folder im missing the FTDI_SIO.KO and other neccesary files thats needed.
My ZWAVE GEN5 stick from zwave.me is in the USB3 port and its also been detected by the SRM and i can see it in Putty if i use lsusb.

I have tried your older serial drivers where you also added a SRM version for this router, but the drivers in there arent working because of a difference in the linux kernel, so insmod doesnt work.

Can you tell me how i can make/create my own drivers ? i already tried the driver pack from zwave.me but i need the kernel headers tocompile and i dint have them.

Thank you.

I have compiled UsbSerialdrivers and domoticz for RT1900AC you can test. Domoticz also includes drivers with the latest available kernel for northstarplus-1.1 from synology:

You can download from my server and test: http://www.jadahl.com/synospk/

HI,

First of all thank you for the compiled version, it took me a couple of days to even get domoticz up and running haha.

The compiled domoticz works but the serial driver is still empty, i can see that the needed drivers are in the modules folder, but it looks like they are still a older version, and insmod also says invalid module format.

Then i tried to install your serial driver.spk that is version 1.1 and srm says my version is 3.0.9 so itcant install.

when i use DMESG it says at the drivers that they are version magic 3.6.11 and i have 3.6.11+ ArmV7 p2v8.

Thank you.

You have to delete UsbSerialdrivers folder from /volume1/@appstore$ before you can install the new package, but you don't need this package if you install my domoticz package!
The drivers you will find in the domoticz/module folder and the start script will insmod the modules from here.
I building a new package for you now with updated drivers (3.6.11+)

domoticz package is updated with new drivers: http://www.jadahl.com/synospk/

DS218j is added in DSM6.2 stable packages.
