KNX interface
Hello
I've a heater/cooler using a AIRZONE (http://www.airzone.es) to set temperature n each room
It is possible to add a KNX gateway to my AIRZONE system (http://www.airzonefrance.fr/knx.php) in order to control it by a third party system.
I would like to know if it is possible to add a KNX hardware to my raspberry in order to control my temperature via domoticz.
Any help welcome

Hello
I found a solution without Knx and just a relay board
Just making some tests before describing it
Are you still interested ?

Re: KNX interface
If not, then I am!
I just bought a house that turns out to be loaded with hager knx-rf switches which I'd love to control via domoticz.
But trying to search KNX is already near impossible
So sharing any KNX-RF related knowledge would be welcome.

No trying to be negative about domoticz but why not use the KNX(RF)? add a new IP Gateway like xxter or Pairott and your off to go! I hope ou got the KNX Project file with the purchase of the house..

Re: KNX interface
Thanks for the heads up. In my current house I use z-wave stuff & domoticz. In the new house there are also multiple somfy blinds for which I bought a RFXtrx433E. I was hoping to make it all (including the KNX stuff) come together into domoticz.Skippiemanz wrote: ↑Wednesday 25 April 2018 20:46 .....

But I'll look into all options.
And unfortunately, but no, no project files or any info on the KNX install
Thanks again

Re: KNX interface
Perhaps there is a usb stick somewhere with the project file in the utility closet?? Without it it's gonna be a struggle to figure everything out.
I have some installs where xxter send out a json command to Domoticz.
Otherwise a relay soldered to the somfy remote and controlled by knx is also an option.

Re: KNX interface
Found it, unfortunately it's a 16MB SmartMedia memory card that fits a hager TX100 programmer.Skippiemanz wrote: ↑Thursday 10 May 2018 17:19 Perhaps there is a usb stick somewhere with the project file in the utility closet?? ...
Luckily, my friends from aliexpress have a card-reader that also reads SM for just €8.51. I'll be back in a few weeks.
Furthermore, I'm going to search for an (affordable) KNX-USB interface and try to go from there. E.g. hook up a PC/rPi

Re: KNX interface
Got my SM card reader today.
The SM card has a view .bin files:
CONN_000.BIN
INST_000.BIN
CHAN_000.BIN
PROD_000.BIN
CONFIG.000
Is this something that ETS would read?
I'd say no if I check this link:
https://www.knx.org/ie/software/ets/man ... /index.php
USB stick looks interesting. Would this, combined with ETS be able to "read" the current configuration? Or do I need those .bin files, which seem hager specific to me.
The internet is not really helping me in getting info regarding those files.
The search continues...

The ets and interface wil show you the group adressen but not the names and parameters of the knx device so pretty useless im afraid.
