Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Yes really happy. Just started to see what devices I also wanted to add.
Even the 'Sync devices command' now works.
However.
If something like this happens... and domoticz is still accessible from the outside world.. and I am able to login with the username. Is that some sort of maintenance at the controlicz HQ

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
tnx. all running now. Just exploring the possibilities.
Just a question. I''ve been going through 62 pages within this thread and while the majority is regarding requests being added to beta program I discoverd I should be able to control Devices / Scenes / Groups
Ofcourse only if they have been added to a roomplan and assigned to the Domoticz user.
THe devices can be added to a domoticz user quite easily. But how can this be achieved for Scenes and Groups ?
They don't show up in my list if I press the 'Set Devices' button. (seems obvious as the button is called devices).
As I've been reading an idea was to create new groups and new scenes but they also don't show up as I am unable to figure out how to provide access to the domoticz user.
This configuration works just fine for flipping devices As the FAQ / WIKI is missing some nice screenshots I'll just throw a few in the forum.

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
it doesn't just let you 'flip devices' - you can set percentages, query thermostats, set thermostats, change colours. However, to enable scenes/groups, on your User setup, enable the Scenes Menu.sincze wrote: ↑Saturday 28 April 2018 11:37

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
I have to admit not a good idea reading 62 pages and 34 alexa pages about controlicz and just missing the one clue on page 18.Madgeni wrote: ↑Saturday 28 April 2018 13:33

Strange part is that sometimes you have to enable a tab and sometims you don't.
Not a controlicz problem ofcourse as it is using the API.
As far as 'flip devices' that remark had to be positioned within the light of my test case.
Indeed tons of additional stuff can be achieved. Controlicz has way more potential.
I'm considering writing the wiki for people to help them with an easy setup and not having them to search around as controlicz deserves better.
I'm offering my help here if required.
Now let me start testing the scene and groups.

Check the FAQ on the website, let me know if it's not sufficient.

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Excellent the FAQ is working.
When I started the day before yesterday the numer 2 did not play the nice instruction video. Showed just an icon of missing something.
And while searching the web I could find this.

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Many thanks. Real improvement and really clear.
Currently for me SCENES and GROUPS don't show up yet (added to roomplan: yes).
Even with the Sharing and Scenes tab enabled for the user.
The user has access to the menus if i login with the specific user.
A well moving on for now.
I'm now working on the Kodi integration (already read on the forum no native support yet and you like Kodi as well).
I have some IFTTT applets that pass 'mentioned' information towards a domoticz text sensor and locally some scripting happens to kick KODI into motion. Let's see if I can migrate it towards controlicz and discover additional possibilities.

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
All it really needs is the Domoticz API to be able to read the Domoticz DB for the Kodi IP. I can do the rest, i wrote a native alexa skill for Kodi a little while back, using a local script and MQTT.

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Ok, just troubleshooting something - will take a look at this as well. Can you just send me a screenshot from the Devices tab on your Domoticz of those devices? I need Type/SubType. These should be lights, right?

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Would that be 'on / off' or 'colour' or both

They should be lights, yes:
Type: Color Switch - SubType: RGB - Added as: On/Off, so I like it as On/Off in Controlicz aswell-

Well according to the 'thank you' reputation on this forum that would be: "trying to be helpful".
Just spending a few days with controlicz functionality.

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Awesome, working: lights show up in Google Assistant and can be controlled!
(The table in https://www.controlicz.com/profiledevs still shows an empty Google/Alexa column though)
