Last week i've bought a IR probe so I can add city heating to domoticz. I've created several virtual dummy devices to create graphs like day, week, month and year usage. However while working on this I realized that this functionality is already in domoticz with the P1 meter. Wouldn't it be great if I could submit, for example, total usage via API to a hardware-like device so that domoticz could proces and display it just like the P1 meter? Or even better I could specify the device and domoticz does it by itself.
Its a whole lot cleaner compared to my solution right now
Running virtualized domoticz server on a proxmox cluster with a slave for optimal RFX communication. Using Aeotec Z-Stick Gen5, rfxtrx433e, Homebridge and a Philips HUE bridge for all sort of home automation.
