I do not understand your question. You can't have a System Alive Checker without an IP address. See below

Sorry,lost in translation .
7. Make the system alive checker sub/slave device (wk.tv.local system alive) of the TV Woonkamer switch.

Regarding stap 7

See attached, add the alive checker device in the properties screen of the main TV switch, created in step 4

Updated the guide as the cec-client wouldn't compile anymore.

Now based on Stretch and libcec 4.04.

Enjoy

I'm almost there ... I guess :P

I made everything from the tutorial mentioned in first post but I wonder about IP example addresses on the pics:

one is the TV ip adress and what's the second one in the dummy switches?

Thanks in advance for any info! :)

I do this by using a HDMI CEC injector from Pulese Eight.

https://www.pulse-eight.com/p/104/usb-hdmi-cec-adapter

It is connected via usb, so simplifies the whole issue. You can issue the on/off commands from the raspberry without additional devices.

@gromar

First ip is the ip of the raspberry where the cec deamon is running

Second ip, is for the raspberry which runs the main domoticz installation, so it points to itself.
