Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Hello Madgeni,
Could you help me with the list of my devices? In the Google Assistant, I see my "motion sensor" with the icon as lamp, I don't understand why.
1. In the Domoticz it is indicated as "motion sensor" but not like "on/off" or "dimmer".
2. And one more question. I don't see my lamp, but in the Domoticz it is indicated as "dimmer" and has description "Controlicz:Desk lamp"
Thanks in advance

the 'is off' is a Google bug
Can i ask a favour of all of you? Controlicz is finally available in the directory - can you leave me a review please?

Thanks!

I would gladly do that, but I am (still) not able to signup on the website...Madgeni wrote: ↑Sunday 25 February 2018 13:47 the 'is off' is a Google bug

I have tried it on 3 different computers, in Chrome, in Internet Explorere, in Microsoft Edge, on my mobile phone, but after I fill in my details on the signup form, nothing happens. I am only presented an empty signup form again. I receive no e-mail, and I am not able to login with the data I submitted.
Could you please check the website? Thanks!
[edit]
Something happened, I just received a message that my account is created, only thing is that I can not sign in on the site, and I tried this e-mail address a couple of times, so I don't know the password.
But I will try some passwords

I just did that for you, through the front end - no idea why you couldn't do it.

I am starting to feel really dumb...
I have an account now, and I changed the settings.
When I press the "Test Domoticz" button, it states it is unable to connect, but when I go to the URL and port I provided, and use the login details I provided, I am able to log in.
When I try to connect the account in the Google Home app, I get a message that Google needs full access to my account, I press allow, then in the end I get a message that it could not connect, and that I need to check the connection..
BTW, can I change the password you set for me?

Password resets for Controlicz - for now you'll have to do it via "Forgotten your Password?"

I have attached some screenshots of the results I get when testing in my profile, and adding it in the Home app.

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
please remove "https:/" from your hostname in Controlicz
I honestly thought i'd fixed that in the back end, but you just need to supply host name/external IP

Are you hammering f5??! It's back.
Edit: For the wider community - Controlicz as a service to you wasn't down, rather the website was whilst I made a couple of changes. It was down for roughly 5 minutes.

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Sorry, no F5ing from my side.. guess I just coincidentally tried it when the site was down..
Sorry for all the questions from my side, but I'm almost there.. I have removed the https:// part and have successfully added it to Home now.. But... When I query something, I get the error shown in my screenshot.. Do you have any idea how to resolve that?
I already tried to unlink and link again.
Thanks a lot for the support so far!
[edit]
Some additional info:
I can query the status of a light; when I ask "is the big light on?" it will give me the current status of the light. If I turn it in Domoticz, the status will change. So the connection is there. For some reason it can not turn lights on or off though...

and those devices are discovered?

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Yep, they are discovered, and assigned to rooms
Tried some other commands, and setting them to a colour does seem to work:
Me: Set the big light to blue
Assistant: OK, changing the Big Light to blue.
I can see in Domoticz that it is turned on, and it seems to be blue. But since I am not at home, I can not really check.

Does the account you've provided have permissions to control those devices? I'm seeing:TheFes wrote: ↑Monday 26 February 2018 16:58Yep, they are discovered, and assigned to rooms

Thanks a lot! I did not notice you could create a profile with viewer rights only.. That was indeed the problem.
Strange though that I could change colours, but anyway, it works now!
I will send you some beer money

HI Madgeni.
Could you help me with the list of my devices?

2. And one more question. I don't see my lamp, but in the Domoticz it is indicated as "dimmer" and has description "Controlicz:Desk lamp"
