information about python, scripts and libraries

Hello,

To start with domoticz I want to control 2 devices I already have

1. Bose soundtouch
2. Panasonic tv ( getting the tv on again)

both work with a script and a python library. Where can i find a decent tutorial how to install this ?

Hi @Faecon,

I'd say you have multiple ways to use your python library and scripts, depending on your ease with coding.

You can take a look at Scripting in Domoticz wiki where it shows that LUA scripts can be used to call python scripts or that you can directly call your python/bash scripts with a dummy device.

If you feel confident with coding, you can also Develop a Python plugin in order to create your own Devices in Domoticz and share it with the community (that would be great!).
