Re: Google Home
Actually I think I got it working. I created a new User Variable for the IP address of my second Google Home. I then duplicated the function in the TTS block 'The temp is..' and change the IP address to my second Google home. I linked the duplicate into Device Filtering block as well.
Re: Google Home
I got myself on the google home max waiting list. Today I have received a link that it can be ordered, including a promo code for an additional google home device. Unfortunately it can only be ordered in the US, not in the Netherlands. And the max and regular home devices are not shipped together so using a forwarding service is also rather uneconomical. Someone interested in helping me out in exchange for a cheap google home?

Re: Google Home
Thank you for the node red flows guys.
Got them to work perfectly.
Considering I've never used node red before I'm amazed how easy it is to extend a bit. I've included another variable which can hold any text to be sent to the google home - so if I want it to announce someone coming home etc it can.

Re: Google Home
I literally just followed the initial post by Bradds
viewtopic.php?f=69&t=13607&start=20#p148867
I had to add a couple more matches to the device type list so it could match my device types, but other than that it just worked.
I'll write up exactly what I added to allow any text to be sent to GH.

Re: Google Home
Hi Everyone.
I have decided to create a maker channel on youtube with a view to creating instructional videos using the Ifttt - Dom - node red route.
If anyone is interested, please check it out here - https://youtu.be/fGi5rGpGCWU and let me know what instructional videos you would like me to create for you in the comments. The first part of the video is about a project I recently did and the second half is some examples of how I use the system apart from switching stuff on and off, Please go easy on me as I am only just learning video editing, But I am willing to help if there is enough interest.
Thanks.

Re: Google Home
Yeah, I know. Unfortunately I don't yet have a decent microphone, had to film it all on my phone...and my voice is a lot worse.

Re: Google Home
Maybe you can film with your phone and recorde your voice after and mix all together
Why don't you try once and let us give you our feedback ?

Re: Google Home
So! Since It's no more free or opensource ability to use Google Home with Domoticz, topic actual again. We need native support of GH in Domoticz, I think.
