I would like to add some automation and don't like o be limited to a specific platform.
I also like to be able to expand and control from scripts or own development stuff.

I started with HomeWizard and missed some features, started looking for an alternative and found Domoticz.
It works great and I have way more control over my devices.
[My role here?] Trying to learn more about domoticz. And trying to find out how you can add a hub/bridge that is not supported yet. If you have some tips where to start please let me know.

Running Domoticz in two Raspberry Pi3 ONE with Z-Wave radiator valves the second Pi manages the relay for the heating. Z-Wave network wouldn't reach the place where I have access to the heating thermostat.
