Schemersensor

Post by desertdog »

I think the best thing to do is ask this question in English. Much better change of a response.

I think it works like this. At the moment it gets too dark, you press the 'learn' button once and then the signal is given every time the light level reaches the same light conditions. I have set up a script which ensures that there is a delay in switching on and off to ensure that the lights does not go on and off continuously.

Now I can not find a good position for this device. On a cabinet in the living room results the switch is activated too often during the day. Another low cabinet, facing the window, gives better resluts, however, when the lamp comes on, the switch sees this and then finds that the light level is high enough to switch everything off again

Which of you also has such a (similar) sensor and how do you solve this? Where can you best place the sensor?

I had one in the early days of my Domoticz adventure.
I had it installed outside besides the frontdoor, as the sun circles from left to right in the front of my house.
So it caught the early sun and late sun at sundown.
After trail and error i came to the conclusion that a place in the livingroom was't the best solution.
There are to many variables which could trigger it false like curtains open or closed, lights on/off or candles burning or the TV.
Setup:
- DS923+ Docker
Domoticz Latest Stable
Mosquitto / ZwaveJSUI @ Aeotec Z-Stick Gen5+ / PiHole Unbound
P1 USB Gas/Power, HW watermeter
- A lot of Zwave switches, contacts, plugs, smoke/Co2 ect
- DiY 7.5kWh Solar Storage @ GitHuB
