Yes it in the living room room plan and as well as overall floor plan.
It is an active switch (I can actuate the switch from the floor plan, just Alexa cannot see it)

Hi Madgeni,
One thing I like to point out most of my switches (switch > Xiaomi Gateway > domoticz)
This tp link switch is slight different (switch > domoticz direct [as a virtual switch])

Re: Easy Domoticz to Alexa Integration
Good morning !
And now to a totally different topic
First of all: everything works pretty well, thank you. And yes, I have left a positive review for Controlicz
My question: I have a number of temperature sensors based on DHT22. They show temperature as well as humidity.
I can ask for the temperature of a sensor - > works well, but how do I ask for the humidity ? I have tried (I live in Germany)
"Feuchte", "Feuchtigkeit", "Luftfeuchte", "Luftfeuchtigkeit", but all without success. Is this a general problem or is it just
because that it does not work in German ?
Thanks a lot in advance
Josh

Hi @joshmosh -
i don't believe you can access Humidity at the moment - as soon as new functionality is available, i'll make sure it's in there.
@sgeaglef15 - can you PM your email address, and i'll take a look

Re: Easy Domoticz to Alexa Integration
hey @Madgeni, seem to have an issue with controllicz/alexa picking up new/changed devices - specifically a thermostat and temperature.
They are both in a room plan etc.
EDIT: Nevermind, just figured it out, needed to add the new devices to my domoticz user that controllicz has access to. - doh!

Re: Easy Domoticz to Alexa Integration
Thanks - I get that bit working ok, so I can create a group called 'bedroom', added all the bedroom devices, then tell alexa to turn the bedroom on/off.
However, the Amazon blurb for the feature suggests you should be able to do things like 'alexa, turn on the light' - then because I've spoken to the echo in the 'bedroom' group, it will find the 'light' devices in that group and switch those on (as opposed to everything in the bedroom group'.
That doesn't seem to work though... so i've either misunderstood the Amazon description for groups, or it's just plain not working

Essentially, I'm trying to get a setup where alexa is aware of the rooms, and devices in each room, and also which room a given echo is in. So that more natural commands can be used.
Heres what I'm talking about; https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/custom ... =201749250

Re: Easy Domoticz to Alexa Integration
hi @madgeni,
what's proper device type/subtype for a door lock? it's a Yale ZigBee doorlock (as dummy switch)
this is the only thing that isn't working for me..

Re: Easy Domoticz to Alexa Integration
Oh right - that's pretty lame.. I have a UK amazon account and the Alexa app even states "try saying: dim the lights on your living room echo, to only dim the living room"
Where have you seen its US only? - I'd like to check if there is an eta for UK support.

Re: Easy Domoticz to Alexa Integration
Ah OK, well thanks for the info.. Hopefully they will release for UK soon, as it will make things much slicker.
I don't really get why they do the whole feature release thing in US months before anywhere else..
