Custom icons not updating after edit

Post by philchillbill »

I've created several custom icons for switches which all work fine. I recently decided to edit the PNG files to change some colours, keeping all file names the same and recreating a new zip archive with the usual required 4 files. When uploading to Domoticz via the web interface, neither the 'update' option nor delete/re-upload work (the old icon stays cached somewhere). Restarting Domoticz doesn't help. Neither does manually overwriting the PNG files in the /domoticz/www/images directory.

Any ideas?

Clear your browser and app cache (those are separate things)

Yep, that did it - thanks. I forgot that refreshing/reloading a page is not sufficient...
