Hi,
I would like to monitor the domoticz.log for ex the word "Something" and update an text switch. So when the "something" word is written in the log, it should update the switch.
Is that possible?
Thanks
/Claus

I think fail2ban could do that.
Fail2ban monitors logfiles. Normally to block users but you can create custom actions.

Haha I might succeed in that, but as I said, not easy. What is the reason you want to do this?

I'm interested too in monitoring Log.
I use OpenWebNet and some commands are not managed, but I can see the command in the Log.
So it can be useful for me to trap this Log line and do some action.

I'm also interested, I'd like to check my error log for an error from the Mi-light bridge and send a pushover message so I know when to reset it.
