Why not working?

Post by Eddiever »

I am starting with Blocky. I made a very simple script but it does not work. What am I overlooking? "Schuurdeur" is a Kerui doorsensor (open/closed). Kaku1_buitenlamp is a klikaanklikuit switch device. If used manual this light (kaku1_buitenlamp) works.

"Schuurdeur" is a sensor with status "open" or "closed", but you want something to happen when it has status " alarm"?? Try "schuurdeur" = "open".

Great, I did use "on" and "alarm" but didn't think of "open". This did it! Thank you.

When editing, you can always show "current states" of devices

Hi,

note that when using a (eg. dummy) door contact in blocky, to set it to open you have to use ''set doorcontact = On'' (and to off for having it closed).
