Custom tab

Hi,

I want to monitor my routers, pc's and mobiles. This works with custom sensors.
But I also want a special page for this in the menu at the top of the page.
in the sourcecode of the frontpage I see a customTab.
How can I activate this custom tab in my view as admin? And how can I display the stuff with the special sensor on it?
I can find no info in the wiki, nor this board.
