You have to wait about a Fw update, that not à domoticz problème.
I have a dual switch and it's working fine in mi-app using 149 firmware. Why should xiaomi change the firmware when it's nothing wrong when using the app? :)
Problems started after 149 firmware, however the https://github.com/YinHangCode/homebridge-mi-aqara Homebridge Plugin is still working with 149!

Yes, but as there is no problems for xiaomi app users, only for domoticz users, i doubt they will change the firmware "back for us" :)

Maybe if we complain a lot they will fix it. For every actual complaint a company gets, it multiplies it by some number because most people won't bother to complain.

I just ordered my stuff last week, so I don't actually have it yet to see the problem, and complain lol

This problem is for every body who use the API...not only for domoticz user...i already explain you how to explain this to xiaomi (on github, and using the comment form xiaomi app, explaining the problem with the api...) if no body do this, they will never know that there is a problem.

I have just received the Yeelight LED strip and it should work in Domoticz. But to make it work I have to turn on the developer mode for the LED strip in the settings of the mi home app... But I don't have this option in the setting. So now Domoticz cannot find the Yeelight...

Anyone has the same problem?

i think i just found the setting, activated it and still did not work... you have to look into the yeelight app for the setting, not mihome

I didn't have to do much really..

I added Yeelight LED in hardware in domoticz, added the led strip in the yeelight android app - enabled developer mode and it showed up in the devices in Domoticz.

Did you update the firmware of the LED strip?

Ok will add when API support from Xiaomi comes, then what kind of device should it map to in Domoticz?

I don't know if there is one in Domoticz. It's just a water presence so I think that just 1 or 0 it's ok lol.

I would like to thank all the people working on integrating the Xiaomi Gateway and all its sensors to Domoticz. I picked up a Gateway and some sensors this summer. My initial idea was to use it purely for security. But when I came to see the possibilities for domotica, it got me very excited and I wanted to explore more.

I used the Xiaomi Mi app and apart from the Chinglish it looked very usable. But getting into programming some scenes, it became apparent it had some huge flaws. First of all the time zone. All my scenes that were dependant on a time schedule failed, because the app processes the time zone of China. I tried adding time in the app to compensate, but it doesn't seem to work right. The second flaw, and the most annoying one, is the lack of programming a delay when the sensors are triggered while the system is armed. When I open the front door the alarm will get immediately triggered. I was very surprised to see that the app does not allow for a delay to be programmed. I never heard of an alarm not having this mandatory feature.
So I started looking on the internet and saw the Gateway was compatible with Domoticz. Being new to Domoticz, I downloaded the program and started to experiment. I came to the conclusion that it is a very powerful program, that could easily outclass the Xiaomi Mi app. Shortly after I ordered a raspberry Pi 3 which I received this weekend. I installed Raspbian and Domoticz yesterday and I am now in the phase of exploring the programming part. I am not a very skilled programmer, so I am dependant on copy/pasting other peoples work and hopefully being able to bend it to my needs, learning a lot about Blockly and Lua in the process.

My main focus is on getting the gateway to properly function as an alarm with an trigger delay. Blockly is very straight formward, I already programmed the body sensor to trigger the power plug on a specific time to light a (non Xiaomi) Led strip in my backyard kitchen when motion is detected. Lua looks a bit more difficult though, but I still need to do a lot of reading. I have ordered more sensors and lights to experiment with. My setup so far:

Xiamoi Gateway V3 kit with door sensor, body sensor, powerplug, wireless switch, 2 Yeelight RGB bulbs.

On the way: 3 Yeelight RGB bulbs, magic cube remote, 2 wireless switches, body sensor, 2 door sensors
