Hello,

I'm trying to update a variable with text but I can't find the solution. This: domoticz.variables('var_buienradar').set(0) works perfect for an integer but I can't get it working for a string.

Has anyone a solution for this?

That's correct. It's a bug that I fixed yesterday. But first our next pull request has to be merged into domoticz before I can merge this fix. Hopefully this will be done soon.
I can send you a patch if you want to.

The pull request is merged. I am now almost done preparing dzVents 2.1 that will have this fix. Plan to release it today.
