Pet Friendly PIR

Post by nigels0 »

Hi,

After getting annoyed about small animals tripping PIRs, I took a gamble and bought one of these from eBAY to see if it would work - and it does - with the Lighting 4 protocol in the RFXTX455E

I found this very PIR in ebay and was hoping it would work with domoticz so did a search and come across this post. Is it indeed pet friendly?

Many Thanks

Yes, seems to work a lot better than the Siemens ones I used to use and do discriminate . Set up as a lighting 4. I offeedr £9 for them each time and it was always accepted🙂

Damn, I just offered £11 and still waiting.

We have motion detectors but the wife has decided she wants cats! So our hallway light keeps coming on when the cats decided to walk to the kitchen lol.

How long did you have to wait for delivery? It’s showing 1 Jan 😱

Thanks for the prompt reply!!
