Re: Voice control
Hmm, nice project, going to take a look at it. Still have an extra RPI left. It has a Python API to make your own applcations (control Domoticz). Thanks for sharing

Re: Voice control
SiriProxy won't work because Apple encrypted the traffic between the iDevice and Siri servers.

Working on it, jut need to order a USB Mic. first.simon_rb wrote:Did anyone get this working reliably?
The Jasper image is nice, but it has a DHCP server installed and enabled by defaull, so I use the manual way of installing. The installation notes http://jasperproject.github.io/document ... ure-jasper are pretty good, but missing some things.

SweetPants,
I'll hold off until you have it running and ironed out the bugs
Look forward to hearing about your progress.

Re: Voice control
Thanks for the warning. Do you think you'll have time to produce a quick guide with the missing bits included? If so I'll wait for that, start in the morning and leave it compiling throughout the day

Re: Voice control
HI!
I dont know if many has implemented 'jasper' in their home automation system but i would like to give 'voice control' a try!
i dont know if i got it all right about 'jasper' and still have some questions.
I know you can choose which speech engine you use for 'jasper' (i personaly like the google speech engine (from google now experience ))
But i wondered.. if you ask something like you would ask to google 'whats the weather'.. then google will answer you.. will jasper do this also?
and how good does it perform in a 'living room' situation? :
1 mic for the room (which mic should i get?)
and doesn't it get 'false positives' when watching a movie/tv?
I hope some of you can share their thoughts and experiences about this and maybe some tips or things to keep in mind?
Thanks!
