Hi, is there a way to control On/off switch default status? I have an On/off switch that is connected to relay. Problem is simple: When relay is off, my button status is ON and vice versa. Because the default status of relay is OFF i'd like the switch also be OFF by default.
This might be very stupid question, but I can't figure out solution.. Any help will be appreciated!

Have you found a solution?

Re: Invert On/off switch
I have a similar problem. I have a couple of 8 channel in/out relay net cards. they work well, but the inputs are "open" when they are active and "closed" when inactive. I think these values come from the board, not Domoticz. I'd like to be able to change this to whatever I'd like, but I don't think it can be done.

Re: Invert On/off switch
you could make a dummy switch and let that dummy send inverted commands to the "original" switch, you end up with two switches, one good and one inverted. it is not a really elegant solution but i think it will work fine.

It will be a lot easier if that was an option in switch setup.GeoBonas wrote: ↑Friday 20 September 2019 19:21 You must read https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/GPIO

Re: Invert On/off switch
I need also "contact inverted" and "doorcontact inverted".
My magnet contacts give contact when the door/windows are closed and no contact when door/window is opened. This is exact the opposite of what is programmed in domoticz...

Re: Invert On/off switch
Similar situation. I have a Aux Power Supply that is linked to a GPIO on Rasp Pi. So the alarm state is when it goes Low. If I select an Alarm icon in Domoticz it is on red when normal and off when there is a power failure. Seems I either need a dummy switch or reconstruct (bodge!) my electronics with an inverter circuit. An Invert option in Domoticz would be easier and neater.
You can get active high relays. I just bought a module of 4 solid state ones on ebay (search "Solid State Relay Modules High Level Trigger" - some are 5v and some 12v and a mix of 2 to 8 modules). I drive them from the Pi via opt-couplers using the 5v Aux Power Supply

Hi
I agree with a need ofan inverted contact type, the same way there is a Door Lock Inverted one.
Looks not to be a huge development, even if i agree it is alaways an amount of work
