Hey there party people,
since im planning to extend my temperature sensors i've found some quite cheap and small 433MHz sensors at Banggood.
Is anyone using them already and is able to say something about compatibility?

Re: Digoo DG-R8S
I got a 3 of those. Not worth the money. One device is working fine (with RFLink), other two not really. And as a silly bonus, if humidity is low they all kind of crash. Spend a few more bucks and get working devices.

Re: Digoo DG-R8S
Thanks for your quick answer!
The price would not be the decisive point, they are around 4 cm tinier than the "standard" https://www.banggood.com/DANIU-433MHz-W ... 65559.html
But i expected such an answer and will order the other ones.

I have a Digoo DG-R8S and I have not been able to make it work with RFXtrx433E.

Re: Digoo DG-R8S
Got one of them today for testing purposes.
They are not recognised, as expected, but the raw messages look promising.
Sent them to RFLink Dev Team and hope it will be integrated in next firmware.

Re: Digoo DG-R8S
I have multiple of these devices working out of the box with RFLink R46 and Domoticz without any problems.
The devices change their IDs each time the batteries are removed.
It seems like sometimes the devices do not create a new proper ID when initially powered up. For me it worked to just remove the batteries again and start over.

Thanks for this! After removing and inserting the batteries the device is now sending correct values via RFLink to Domoticz!CherAlban wrote:I have multiple of these devices working out of the box with RFLink R46 and Domoticz without any problems.
