Time confusion

Post by BakSeeDaa »

As Donald said "Who lives in Sweden?"

Well, I do.

Here, normally local time is GMT + 1 but we have DST currently so itś GMT + 2.

Anyway... If I log into my Domoticz machine and issue the command `time` the result is: Fri Jun 2 17:21:48 CEST 2017
That's great and it correlates with the clock on my wall.

However, if I issue the following command in dzVents:

Code: Select all

print(domoticz.devices['dl4b Friggebodsdörren'].lastUpdate.getISO())
the result is:

Code: Select all

2017-06-02 17:15:00.817 LUA: 2017-06-02T13:59:16Z
I get confused because
http://mydomohost:8080/json.htm?type=devices&rid=573 says:

Code: Select all

LastUpdate	"2017-06-02 15:59:16"
Why would dzVents prefer to tell the time differently than Domoticz?

Reply to my own question:
Returns the ISO 8601 formatted date
Fine then.

I should use

Code: Select all

print(domoticz.devices['dl4b Friggebodsdörren'].raw)
instead. I should RTFM ;) This is embarrassing ...
