Domoticz on RPi Zero W

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum so I'm not sure if this post in the correct place but I have a question about installing Domoticz on a Raspberry Pi Zero W. I can't find it anywhere on this forum but my plan is to connect three TCRT5000 sensors to the RPi Zero W, install Domoticz on it and acces it through Wifi but I'm not sure if Domoticz can be installed on the RPi Zero W. Can someone tell me if this is possible?

Jumper How "big" is your system and what is the load?
I'm thinking about changing Pi 3B on Zero W .....

Running it on hardware like a Pi zero W would be awesome.

I would also like to know how big the system is, and if it is responsive enough or that the hardware is barely capable.

I have one running very smooth on a RPi Zero W.

It's Perfect for installing anywhere.

Hello to all who are able to use zero w and Z-Stick GEN5. And all other who might help me with my setup. I have the newest beta V3.8144 running on my pizero w. In Hardware I added a Z-Stick GEN5, Serial Port is select to dev/ttyAMA0. Setup button in domoticz is red and when I click on that button I forwarded to next side with nodes. All is empty, so the Z-Stick isn't set as a controller nor as a switch.
In log of domoticz I got "Error: OpenZWave: Driver Failed!!" does anybody know where I can get this driver from and which driver is missing. For Z-Stick or for pizero w?
I installed Jessie lite and afterwards domoticz the easy way by sudo curl .........

Hi,

Zero W is nice small piece of hardware, but be aware, it has notably less CPU power than RPI3. It is de facto overclocked RPi 1 model B - 1 CPU core vs. 4 cores of RPI3 and half of RAM

Have domoticz running on a NanoPi NEO-air. Installed on the eMMC. Works lika a charm

I have a domoticz instance running on RPi1 model B, as slave (RFlink gateway). 1 usb port for WiFi, 1 port for RFLink. CPU usage is always below 10% (mostly stays below 5%).

hello.
I bought a raspi zero yesterday and i trying to install domoticz on it.
The use the same tutorials like raspberry pi3 and dont work. I have some problems

Can someone tell me what tutorial use to install domoticz in a pi zero?

Which version of rasbian are you installing and which version of domoticz?
You can search the forum for libssl problems with latest raspbian

i use the last version of raspbian and then I follow this tutorial:

maybe i make something wrong

EDIT: with last jessie version of raspbian i can make it works but I cant make works miio library
