Hello all, I have real raspberry pi 2 with z-usb stick and roller Schutter fibaro, installed domoticz and coupled the roller, all right, from the active panel will domoticz all, the problem is with Homebridge. tried several guides on the net but I can see on the iPad only Homebridge icon, instead of the roller accessory Schutter does not see it. Someone at some tips for me? thanks anticipatamente.Scusate my English

Hello,

I'm playing with eDomotiz, trying to find out what I will be able to do with it. Seems very impressive!

I do have some questions:
- first, regarding switches. For instance, I have set up a virtual "Push On Button" and added it to my Homekit room (SwitchTypeVal: 9 in Domoticz). It does appear on my iPhone in Home application, but only as a standard switch, and I can turn it on or off like any other switch. I would really need to use it as a push button, which is off by default, and is turned on temporarily when I click on it. Is it possible?
- I have also set up virtual temp+humidity sensors, whose values are refreshed by a LUA script computing mean temperatures and humidity in my house. Everything seems OK in Domoticz, while I only have access to the temperature on my iPhone, humidity is missing. Is it normal?

You can set the automatic shutdown or set the switch as a button I attach an example.

I could of course use some trick to transform this standard switch into a push switch. But I was thinking that push switches were natively supported by eDomoticz, and would appear as such in Home app.

allthough I am able to use homebridge with my iphone(6) and my Ipad(4) but My girlfriends(Yes, she want to use it too) Iphone(7) is not able to see the homebridge devices.
I also tried installing Eve, but no luck.

is there any chance this is a known error or someone has any idea?

I think not, what kind of support would you be looking for? As I see it, the main benefit of this project is the possibility to control your home and retrieve information with voice commands via Siri. I don't see what Siri would tell me about my IP cameras. There's plenty of good software for them already...?

So instead to have another app just to view my cameras I thought it would be nice to have everything in the same app, the Home app.

I found this:
The Home App welcomes cameras as well. Within the app, you can watch live feeds, retrieve recorded videos, and adjust your camera's settings. As a bonus, notifications from your camera will include a live feed, which you can watch right from the lockscreen. With this new feature, you won’t need to unlock your phone to see what’s going on.

Ok, yeah I can see some benefit from that. Personally, I use other software if I need to be clicking something and use eDomoticz just for Siri commands so I was not thinking that far. Let's hope the developer would have time to look into this...

Access is shared through the appleID. Did you invite her through Settings - HomeKit - Invite?

Why don't you easily share you "home" with her as member of the family (for apple account)? When I used iOs I did it with my brother so he controlled my home without setting anything.
