Just started with solar pannels and of course immediately connected them to my Domoticz system.
In the logging of the solar panels I am missing the "Max Wattage per day", similar to the temparture logs. It would be interesting to see this value in the log reports, providing some extra information about the max sun capacity of the day.

Re: Logging Energy Production
Hi. I had my solar panels installed in 2011 and have been logging and monitoring my usage since then at https://pvoutput.org/. the site has more graphs and features than you can ever imagine and also allows you to compare your system with others. A couple of years ago I followed the Wiki for uploading energy data to PVoutput.org and now a LUA script uploads all the generation and consumption data to the site every 5 minutes. Works a treat. I can't add a link, sorry. My work PC blocks access to the Domoticz wiki.
Running Domoticz on Pi3 with RFXtrx433e. LWRF power sockets and dimmer switches. Integrated my existing wirefree alarm PIRs and door contacts with domoticz. Geofencing with Pilot. Harmony Hub. Tado for Heating. Now playing with mysensors.

Re: Logging Energy Production
This wiki page you mean?
Will look into it tonight, thanks.
However, still interested in the option within Domoticz

In the forum-messages you find all kind of messages discussing solutions (and
experiments to get a solution).
Just use the search-window with appropriate key-word to get hits ...
Some are duplicates of the solutions described in the Wiki-section, while others use different approaches.

Set2 = RPI-3A++RFLinkGTW+ESP8266s+PWS_WS7000
Common = KAKUs+3*PVLogger+PWS_TFA_Nexus
plus series of 'satellites' for dedicated interfacing, monitoring & control.

Re: Logging Energy Production
Hmm, just thinking out loud. I am collecting data of my solar panels by a API from my Solar Edge monitoring site. Wouldn't it be easier to connect the Solar Edge directly to the PVOutput site. Will look if this is possible....
Edit: Yes it is, connected it already.
