Mimolite for Garage Door Opener.

New Domo user and other than a Hue new to HA and ZWave.

Just got in a Aeon Labs USB ZWave stick (Gen 5 - so ZWave plus), a Leviton Appliance Plug and Mimolite. Plug works great and was pretty easy to setup. The Mimolite also added easy enough its just configuring it for what I want that is the hard part.

Ive been able to add the Mimolite to my ZWave USB stick and I can switch the relay on and off via Domo with that action added as a switch (Ive got the P5 jumper off on the Mimolite so its just a quick press) with the default "Switch" type. Works no problem.

What I want to do is create a door type that detects open and closed based off the sensor input also found on the Mimolite hooked to a reed switch (Amseco Potter ODC-59).

When I added the device, it actually detected 5 groups. The 1st is the switch, the 2nd a sensor, the 3rd was a general switch, the 4th an alarm type and 5th alarm level. The Fortrezz documentation mentions the 5 groups as well and sort of mentions what they do.

From some testing the sensor is detecting on and off correctly based on my switch but I don't know how to have it interact with the garage door open and close action to visually show the state at glance.

My guess is I actually want to display the sensor data (which acutally reads as open and closed), but have it trigger the relay when its pressed? Does that make sense. Though I don't know how to do that. I do have some custom icons for garage door open and closed but can't seem to find where to add custom icons (I swear I saw it somewhere in the menus but I can't find it now). There is a script action I could trigger but I don't know how to have it trigger another switch.

I have also configured a mimo for controlling a garage door. I went with the mimo2 instead of the mimolight. However I am having issues with magnetic sensor being shown in domotic. I created another post to hopefully get some help.

As for the custom icons it is under SETUP > MORE OPTIONS > CUSTOM ICONS.
I would love to find a momentary switch instead of an on\off switch. How do you have yours setup?
