MiLight

Post by Iwannetjes »

Hallo allemaal !!!!!

If the bridge is V6, the port is wrong. It should be 5987. Let's continue in the existing thread, in English...:)

Hi everyone !!!!
I've been bussy for a few days to try and search about Milight with Domoticz
I have a Wifi-control with 2 rgbw bulbs and in the app it is working fine.
I add the Wifi-control in Domoticz with the IPadress (192.q68.178.66) and the port (8899)
I try to hit the lights with Domoticz but nothing happens
Does someone know what i'm doing wrong ?

Yes, the port defined in the bridge's own config is 8899 (and needs to be) but the port that needs to be defined in Domoticz is 5987. There must be some simple thing you are doing wrong as iBox2 is working fine with majority of users here - via Domoticz and also the 3rd party scripts (which there are plenty, search github or this forum). Maybe a good place to start is reading through this thread: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=14235

So you have linked the bulbs to iBox2 with Milight 3.0 app (and you used which remote in the app?). Then you've configured the hardware in Domoticz and set correct ip and port (5987) and set mode RGBW? And you are trying to control the bulbs via Domotic with the switch that has same group number as the zone number you did the linking to? Have you tried both RGBW and RGBWW switches? Can you share some more screenshots, of the switches you now have in Domoticz and maybe also of the Milight app?
