That's why I stay in V3.6562 which seems to be stable for Xiaomi Gateway.

It would be great if you upload it somewhere. Sources or compiled binaries. I have made a big mistake, before update i deleted backup of working beta.lamouette wrote:That's why I stay in V3.6562 which seems to be stable for Xiaomi Gateway.

Guys, please list out all the Xiaomi devices you have. I've not been able to recreate the problem on my Windows or Raspberry Pi systems.
The devices I have are:
Smart Plug
Motion Sensor
Door Sensor
Xiaomi Wireless Switch (not the Aqara ones)
EDIT: well after posting this, finally replicated the problem here.

Question about the Xiaomi Gateway in Domoticz? Please check the Wiki first: https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Xiaomi_Gateway_(Aqara)

Re: Xiaomi Smart Home Suite (very cheap) compatibilty?
Hi all,
First of all really nice job on this one. I received my gateway today along with the zigbee plug. Working like a charm.. For now via VM because my mac domoticz is not updated yet.
Just a quick question for the smart socket is there a possibility that usage will be implemented (watts).?? I know I have read it along the 39 pages however I can't recall. Thanks anyway for the clarification and keep up the good work!

Added new patch#5 to your github, the Aqara wired wall switch (dual button) now can be turned on/off from domoticz and not only show status.
Maybe a stupid question.. I went through the whole forum but can't find this particular issue. I have a wired single wall switch. When switching with MI app or physical, the status gets updated in Domoticz.
But when I switch using the domoticz, it doesn't change work. Domoticz reports 'ON' but the actual switch is off. No error message in the log, it just states:
User: Admin initiated a switch command (91/Zolder Overloop/On)
(Xiaomi Gateway) Light/Switch (Zolder/Overloop)
Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Running the latest beta...
Many thanks in advance,
Jelle

Re: Xiaomi Smart Home Suite (very cheap) compatibilty?
Hi,
This post to share my (short) experience with it.
I've been following this thread from the beginning, and after a few pages I became enthusiastic about it (many thanks for developing this,it's great!).
So yesterday, my 5-in-1 package came in by mail. I did already install the app and created an account beforehand, not to lose time
After plugging in the gateway, the app quickly picked it up. I don't mind that I have to look around in the options (especially considering the price I paid) and I find it a challenge that it's not (in addition to domoticz) plug-and-play. But, the horror: After selecting the gateway in the app and then the 3 dots in the upper right corner, I got a message (Mi Home has stopped working). I tried following the guide to enable developer mode, but since there was only about a 5 seconds gap between selecting the gateway and the error message (afterwards, the application goes back to the start-screen), it was not very easy...
After continious trying on my phone (Galaxy S6) I also tried my old Nexus 7 and my wife's Oneplus One, to no avail... I eventually gave and went to bed...
And this morning it struck me, if I would try to set my phone in English, would it make a difference? It does... It does a lot! No more crashes, everything is working properly. Gateway was added in 3 minutes, sensors popping up without a hassle. If I had only known...

Re: Xiaomi Smart Home Suite (very cheap) compatibilty?
Hi guys, thanks for the work done!
Does the current domoticz beta included the last Corbin work? (especially about door sensor trigger?)
I never compiled and i'm quite afraid of loosing everything!
is that the good way of compile?
thanks

Now switching on again, but now from Domoticz (which doesn't work):Code: Select all
2017-02-21 13:12:39.694 (Xiaomi Gateway) Light/Switch (Zolder Overloop) 2017-02-21 13:12:39.698 {"cmd":"report","model":"ctrl_neutral1","sid":"158d00013e4224","short_id":53428,"data":"{\"channel_0\":\"off\"}"} 2017-02-21 13:12:39.716 (Xiaomi Gateway) Light/Switch (Zolder Overloop) 2017-02-21 13:12:39.720 {"cmd":"report","model":"ctrl_neutral1","sid":"158d00013e4224","short_id":53428,"data":"{\"channel_0\":\"off\"}"}
And switching off again from Domoticz (also not working):Code: Select all
2017-02-21 13:13:35.604 User: Admin initiated a switch command (91/Zolder Overloop/On) 2017-02-21 13:13:35.755 (Xiaomi Gateway) Light/Switch (Zolder Overloop)
Maybe the device needs "switch off" send twice or something? one to wake up, one to switch? No idea, justing trying to think of something! Since it doesn't actually sends the 'off' or 'on' command.Code: Select all
2017-02-21 13:15:00.683 User: Admin initiated a switch command (91/Zolder Overloop/Off) 2017-02-21 13:15:00.834 (Xiaomi Gateway) Light/Switch (Zolder Overloop)
Many thanks!
I haven't updated sources since last patch I have submitted..

Re: Xiaomi Smart Home Suite (very cheap) compatibilty?
Oh, and for the Dutch people... I couldn't find the info and I thought it would fit, but these switches do NOT fit the round wall boxes as we have standard in Holland. I had to use a "on-the-wall" frame to use the switch.
I think the wireless ones are better / nicer. Not too sure, but you can probably control HUE light with it.... I'm going to order one and see how that works out.
