Chacon Doorbell

Post by Thomasdc »

Hi everybody!

I bought a Chacon doorbell and i would like to connect this to domoticz (RFXcom)

the problem i have is that the doorbell doesnt show up in my devices...

when I look with RFXmngr I mannaged to see that its seen when i enable 'undec on' and i get this:

packettype = UNDECODED RF Message
UNDECOCED ARC:1708AA6A

and

packettype = UNDECODED RF Message
UNDECOCED ARC:18045535

so when i enable in domoticz 'undec on' i thought it would show up in my devices.. but it doesnt...

I have also AC, ARC, X10 and AD/LightwaveRF enabled in the domoticz hardware setup from rfxcom.

but still it doesn't show up..

Can someone help me to get this Device recognized by domoticz?
Thanks!

Or is this something i need to ask at the RFXcom developers? for in their next firmware update? but it is seen by the rfxmngr on the pc? so it must be possible to let domoticz see it as an device also? or am I missing something?

It is not possible to have this added to Domoticz if only detected as undecoded message.
Contact support RFXCOM
