Updated iBrew with trigger support & mini guide to integrate the ikettle and the smarter coffee in domoticz
Re: Smarter Coffee & iKettle 2.0
Added windows support. No need to fiddle around with python or packages. Just use the exe

Re: Smarter Coffee & iKettle 2.0
Well, yeah! With a little bit of work... care and love, and probably some coffee
All the sensors/values can be added with the previous command and and are updated with the ibrew server...
It creates for you the hardware, and the sensors... and the ibrew server updates them when changed in any way...
That is the automatic reading part..
For the control bit...
You still have to add actions manually to virtual switches in domoticz...
and calling ibrew rest api to switch things on/off, set cups etc...
so it needs a little tweaking...
Just add a new virtual switch
action: off http://ibrew_ip:2080/api/kettle_ip/stop
action on: http://ibrew_ip:2080/api/kettle_ip/start
and make
that a Sub/Slave of the busy motion sensor...
That should work... I haven't got around the test and map out, the control bit... not at home atm.
If you start the ibrew server have a look this page:
http://hostibrew:2080/info/api
it contains all the commands possible, plus you can test them there:-)
So it's semi-automatic...
