I have a Raspberry Pi with Kodi installed attached to my TV. I also have Kodi included in my Domoticz, wich is running on another Raspberry Pi somewhere else in my house.
Now, when I give any command to Kodi from Domoticz, like for example: Play, or Stop or whatever. My TV turns on. I actually want to use this, so that I can switch my TV on with Domoticz. But when I use this method, my Kodi gets a "Unknown" status in Domoticz. So I don't want to do it this way.
But the fact is, that the Raspberry is capable of switching my TV on. So is there any other good method, to use my Raspberry for switching on my TV?

Re: Turn TV on with Raspberry Pi
Ok, so now I know only 1 program can use CEC. So I can't let me Raspberry turn on my TV withoud Kodi, because then Kodi won't have access to CEC anymore. Addind an extra Pi is no option.
So my real question is: Would it be possible to let Kodi give the CEC command to switch my TV on? Without getting the "Unknown" status.
