MiLight Bridge (V4) won't respond

Post by tivoselecta »

Hey people,

I have searched and searched for an answer on this, but not found anything. I am trying to make the MiLight Bridge (I think V4 based on the firmware revision) control my lights. I have it all paired with my lights properly (for the sake of completeness I have three sets of lights all linked to zone 1, when I use the real remote, or the soft remote on my phone, they all go on and off in unison, dim, change color, etc.)

I have the IP of my bridge and I can access the admin screen, I see the IP is set correctly, and I can send UPD packets either to its IP or to the multicast IP manually, and I can turn them on and off (I haven't tried the more complex items.)

I am using the codes listed in the V4 API 0x41 or 0x42 followed by 0x00 0x55 and that flips them on and off.

When I set up the lights in Domoticz, I add the hardware putting in the correct IP address and port, all the zones appear in the next screen, but no matter what I do, I cannot get the lights to flip on or off. Before I go any further, can anyone confirm that this "ought" to work with a v4 MILight box? When I have seen it discussed in the other posts, people link to what looks like the same box as mine, but I wanted to check before I tear any more hair out. :)

So I have used Wireshark to see what it is sending, and it appears to be sending 220055/210055 which is the old V2 API codes. Has this not been updated or is there some way to force the code to see a V4 bridge?
