@Jelmer
cp210x.ko is used by Aeon Labs Z-Stick Series II and I don't think this is the source to your problem.
I do not have neo coolcam PIR for testing, so I can't debug this problem.
I am also using Neo Power Plug and z-stick gen 5, this working perfect.
So I don't have any idea :-(

Thanks for your quick answer...

It's not only about the coolcam node, it's just on the z-stick gen 5 too. When i first installed domoticz, I only had the z-stick with the same issue.

Every action I make on the controller, it's crashing after the error report, for example "5. Enable Controller Blinking" settings altered, click apply and immediate crash. (I think that's where the error report is the result from)

So, where can I troubleshoot why domoticz is crashing? Mayby it's a permission issue? Some output, don't know if it's relevant.

I really hope there's a solution to this, I cannot even set the log debug enable parameter on the stick, it crashes the package. (What I really want to do is some modification on the PIR, like sensitivity, also... not possible)

It's like.... any write/send action to the stick is causing this.

I think maybe this is a cdc_acm driver problem, DS212 with DSM6.x use a older Linux Kernel v2.6.32.12.
I don't have any quick fix for this.

Since the latest stable update yesterday on my Synology, the log is running full with:

Any idea how to solve this?

Hi
I upgraded to V3.5837 yesterday and I can no longer connect on port 8443, but I get an error message in the log saying that it's trying to use 443 and can't do so because it's already in use. Also, the standard http port seems to have changed from 8084 to 8080 but that doesn't seem to be causing issues for me because 8080 was available, I just need to update my browser favourites :)
Thanks for the great work!

Just updated to the latest version (3.0.5.837-7), but now Domoticz won't start on my DS214se. I also installed it manually, but after the install it stops where it normally automaticlly starts. When starting it manually it stops as well.

What can I do to fix this? Is there a rollback option?

Off course, rollback your versioned backup.

Besides that, my Syno updated perfectly to this stable version, even from a previous beta channel.

Thanks for the quick reply, the bad new is that I don't have\make a back-up of the previous version...
But the good news is that Domoticz works again after restarting the NAS :-)

Is it a good idea to update Domoticz everytime there is a new version available? Or is there a change log that I can check and decide if it is worth to update or not?

One could think of this: if it ain't broken, don't fix it.
If the commits on Github don't include stuff you like or need and you don't have issues with the current version and you didn't add new hardware... Why upgrade?

But, backup, backup, backup!!!

Solved...sort of. I backed up the database, uninstalled and then reinstalled Domoticz from within DSM, which triggered the wizard that prompts for the port numbers and they were defaulting to 8084 and 8443 as expected. I guess the upgrade must've somehow wiped out this configuration and not triggered the wizard to reapply it.

Just trying to use my HGI-80 (for Evohome) again on Domoticz with the Synology package. However, I cannot see it (no serial port, no driver?). A few months ago it did work thanks to you, did something change or might I be missing something again? I just freshly installed the beta package for DSM 6, connected the HGI-80, rebooted the NAS, but I cannot set the hardware of the HGI-80 in Domoticz. (DS216+). Is the driver still on board?

Yes the driver is still on board, nothing has change in the cross compiling on this side..
Type dmesg and check if driver is loaded.

Thanks for the quick response. I will have a look. Can take a while, I always have issues logging on through SSH with root, somehow the password is never correct (and yes, I do use the same as admin).

Ok, I can't test this.
Check if you have the firmware files in /lib/firmware folder.

Created a few Domoticz packages for DSM6.1 Beta, if someone wants to test this.
I'll build more gradually.
ONLY USE THIS WITH DSM 6.1 BETA !!!

Same or similar issue here: updated to 3.0.5877-7 via update in Package Center. When I click Run, it is starting up, but always returns to Stopped status.

Tried to restart DSM, no result.

Any ideas?

I don't know why you have this problem, but try the latest beta.
Do you installed the right version?
Domoticz for DSM 5.2 do not work on DMS 6.x.
