Zigbee 4 Domoticz install fails on fresh install Trixie Topic is solved

Hi all
I am trying to upgrade from Bookworm to Trixie, the upgrade was failing during the os upgrade, so i tried a clean Trixie install. Domoticz is running, only the Z4D plugin is giving problems during the plugin installation. The P1, Somfy and all other is working. The plugin is failing during the requirements.txt, see attachment. Hou to resolve this?

The problem was the Vitual Environment. I followed (again) the wiki for installing on Bookworm with virtual evironment. As test i run now Trixie with Domoticz stable 2025.2, no errors in the log now, everything is working ok now.

Did you get all devices from the old installation back automatically, or did you have to pair them again manually?
I am migrating from Buster to Bookworm (not enough courage to jump to Trixie). The plugin works in Bookworm, but I have in succeeded in migrating my 59 devices...

I did the migration from Bulleye to Bookworm, clean install. To get all the devices back:

Make shure you have a Z4D backup.
Stop domoticz (sudo service domoticz stop)
Install the Z4D plugin, following the Bookworm route, also working fot Trixie. Create, if not done, a virtual evironment (see wiki)
copy the files DeviceList-xx.txt and Coordinator-xx.backup in the Data folder from the backup folder into the data folder in the new created plugin
copy the files DeviceConf.txt and PluginConf-xx.json in the Conf folder from the backup into the Conf folder in the new created plugin.
the xx is a number, should be the same for all 3 files.
Start domoticz (sudo service domoticz start.

Check the domoticz log for all devices. I did automatically get all devices back.
This worked for me, also when migrated from Bookworm to trixie

I tried again, no luck. I followed the instructions, no devices came in. I checked, both Domoticz and Z4D accept new devices.
One thing I did notice: once started, I can see all copied files in the Data and Conf directories, but I can also see others.
My files all have the "xx" number 24, and newer files appear with number 27.

Is that relevant?

Well, finally some success.
Without knowing what I was doing, I decided to rename the files to be copied from 24 to 27, and installed them.
After that started Domoticz, and sure enough, Zigbee devices came back to me!

I guess I should be happy, but not understanding exactly how this works makes me wonder...
