Orange PI PC with Armbian Trixie 6.12.57

Post by Piter1973 »

Hello
I'm trying to install Domoticz on my Orange PI PC running Armbian Trixie 6.12.57 ( v25.11 rolling for Orange Pi PC running Armbian Linux 6.12.51-current-sunxi ). But there is a problem during installation - the installation stops

I install using ( I install it on the domoticz user account )
sudo bash -c "$(curl -sSfL https://install.domoticz.com)"

Code: Select all

I don't know where to download the necessary package

or

Maybe someone can recommend a better version of Linux?

What happens if you run

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get install libcurl4
The next step is to check libusb-0.1
So perhaps there is going wrong.

I guess this won't be easy to solve

Code: Select all

root@orangepipc:~# sudo apt-get install libcurl4
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done
Package libcurl4 is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
However the following packages replace it:
  libcurl4t64

E: Package 'libcurl4' has no installation candidate
root@orangepipc:~# ^C
root@orangepipc:~# sudo apt-get install libcurl4t64
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done
libcurl4t64 is already the newest version (8.14.1-2).
libcurl4t64 set to manually installed.
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
It might be easier to change the hardware - I have a Raspberry Pi 3 - I found a system for it, raspioos bookworm. Maybe it will be easier with Pi.

It seems the install script is not ready for Trixie yet. You could try to put bookworm on the armbian and give it another try.

Or use the docker way, then there is no issue at all.

Woow, Thanks :D :D
Domoticz is installed

But the first time I connect via the website, I need a login and password. I didn't set anything up. Is there a default login and password?
This is a new linux install and a new domoticz install.

It was shown in the installed popup, but you can always use the wiki: https://wiki.domoticz.com/Getting_started it shows the default account and password there too. And guides you through initial setup.
